Core responsibilities
The speech & language pathologist is responsible for evaluating and intervening to enhance students' communicative functioning, developing specific goals and plans for speech and language skills. They will also collaborate with iep teams and provide direct therapy services as outlined in students' ieps.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a bachelor's and/Or master's degree in speech-Language pathology and current wisconsin dpi teacher licensure. Certification by the american speech-Language-Hearing association is also required, along with at least one year of experience in a preschool and/Or elementary education setting preferred.
