Camp Kaleidoscope Mentor/Lifeguard

The lifeguard is primarily responsible for ensuring the safety and well-Being of all participants during water activities such as swimming, boating, and fishing, while also teaching water safety skills. This role also involves serving as a camp mentor in non-Water activities, leading various programs, and enforcing camp policies related to the waterfront.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and prior experience in a camp, educational, or recreational setting is required. Preferred qualifications include water safety instructor and current lifeguard certifications, along with cpr and first aid certification, though paid training may be provided.
