Camp Kaleidoscope Mentor

The day camp mentor is primarily responsible for guiding and directing the daily activities of assigned campers, supervising and assisting children and young adults with disabilities in various recreational activities like swimming, boating, and arts and crafts. Essential functions include leading program activities, assisting campers with daily living tasks while maintaining dignity, and aiding in conflict resolution.

Applicants must be 18 years or older, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, especially for those studying therapy or special education. Mandatory requirements include central registry clearance and the ability to work respectfully with individuals with disabilities, while cpr/First aid certification is a plus.
