The Head Varsity Football Coach develops and implements practice plans to ensure scholar-athletes are physically prepared for competition, providing individualized coaching to maximize performance. Responsibilities also include supervising assistant coaches, maintaining records, enforcing team standards, and ensuring compliance with all league and school regulations.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred) and active coaching certification for the State of NY, along with experience coaching at the high school level focusing on skill development. Required qualifications also include valid CPR/First Aid certifications, a valid driver's license, and availability for afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Capital Preparatory Schools is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Athletic Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing coaching and guidance to scholar-athletes in a specific sport and helping them to develop their skills and achieve their potential. This is a part-time position that will require availability during afternoon and evening hours and on weekends.
This is a part-time position, paid by stipend, that may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and physical activity, and requires lifting, carrying, and moving heavy equipment.
