Serrano Language Instructor

The instructor will teach immersive serrano language classes using the fts curriculum to tribal citizens and staff, while also maintaining personal study to gain fluency in the language. This role involves planning lessons, preparing materials, and supporting language revitalization efforts through direct community engagement and cultural event participation.

A bachelor's degree is required, though four years of indigenous language teaching or learning may substitute. A minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in language, is preferred, alongside a demonstrated willingness and capability to learn the serrano language.
