UCI Child Care Services Floating Teacher

The incumbent acts as the department substitute across five centers, co-Supervising the day-To-Day operation of licensed day care facilities serving children from 3 months to 12 years of age. Responsibilities include planning curriculum and outdoor activities, and assisting in the supervision of practicum and field study students.

Successful candidates must possess a current california child development program permit at the teacher level or higher, along with effective communication skills for interacting with children and adults. Required experience includes two years working in a center-Based licensed day care facility and familiarity with federal and state health safety regulations.
