Counselor Assistant

The assistant will ensure the completion of essential patient documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, while providing patients with orientation regarding program objectives and rules. They will also counsel patients in crisis situations and arrange necessary community referrals.

Candidates must possess a ged or high school diploma and must become certified as a counselor in training (Ccit) within 90 days of hire. Full certification as a cadc i or ncc is required within three years of employment.
