- SUMMARY: The role of a Swim Lesson Instructor is to provide motivating and personalized swim lesson programs for individuals and small groups on a regular basis. Responsibilities include prospecting members and non-members for clients, providing safe and effective swimming routines, assisting with successful operation of the aquatic center, and acting as an ambassador of the Club when conducting off-site sessions and presentations. JOB DUTIES 1. Provide safe and effective swim lessons that meet the needs of clients. 2. Arrive sufficiently in advance of each lesson to prepare and begin in a timely manner. 3. Assist members and staff as requested or necessary to maintain a safe and successful aquatics center operation. 4. Remain current with training technology and maintain appropriate licenses and certifications. 5. Inform non-member clients of appropriate check-in procedures and ensure their compliance. 6. Display a consistently positive attitude toward members, staff, job tasks and Club philosophy. 7. Actively promote and sell memberships, programs and Elite Sports Club products. 8. Enforce and uphold the spirit of the Rules and Regulations of the Club in all instances. 9. Solve problems quickly and efficiently in both the Club’s and Member’s best interest. 10. Stay aware of membership trends and attitudes and alert Management of any perceptible changes. 11. Attend all staff meetings and other meetings as requested by management. 12. Understand that club cleanliness is a top priority for all members; therefore assist wherever necessary to keep the Club spotless. 13. Create and maintain a reputation for credibility and integrity with all members and staff.

- QualificationsEXPERIENCE : Previous experience in aquatics. American Red Cross CPR Pro and AED, required. American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, First Aid, and Lifeguarding preferred. Previous experience working with children preferred.
