Prevention Specialist - SU Focus (55016)

The specialist will promote, implement, and maintain evidence-Based prevention programming focused on substance use prevention for youth and/Or adults in boone county, collaborating with staff, coalitions, and schools. Responsibilities also include preparing, delivering, and reporting on various prevention programs, including summer enrichment operations and youth employment placement.

Required qualifications include either a bachelor's degree plus two years of youth group work experience, or an associate's degree plus four years of youth group work experience, along with obtaining prevention specialist certification within 24 months. Candidates must also be 21, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record for required travel.
