Literacy Specialist, Campus School Kimball

The literacy specialist supports the implementation of high-Quality, evidence-Based literacy instruction aligned with tennessee academic standards for english language arts across k-3 classrooms. This includes providing coaching, intervention, professional development, and developing specialized literacy programs like after-School tutoring and summer learning.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a minimum of three to five years of successful k-3 ela classroom teaching experience, along with an active tennessee teaching license for relevant endorsements or the ability to obtain a tdoe permit. Strong knowledge of the science of reading, structured literacy, and experience with rti² framework are highly desired.
