ESL/Reading Specialist

The specialist will provide individualized, multi-Sensory instruction to students in reading and english language development, covering domains like phonics, comprehension, writing, listening, and speaking. This role involves conducting evaluations, writing iep goals, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support academic and social growth.

A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a commitment to working towards licensure in special education (Moderate disabilities, k-8) and holding a valid massachusetts teaching license in esl with an sei endorsement. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree and licensure in special education, along with experience teaching reading and providing esl services.
