Day Treatment - Internship

Interns will learn and practice teaching coping skills, crisis de-Escalation, and behavior management techniques while working with youth diagnosed with mental health or substance use issues under supervision. Essential duties include job shadowing staff, assisting with client monitoring while always paired with another staff member, and documenting client progress in the ehr system.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited university program requiring an internship or field experience at the undergraduate level, or be fulfilling career training opportunities. The experience will take place in winona, mn, and requires the ability to ask program staff questions away from clients.
