The role involves designing and implementing creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for children on the caseload, alongside administering and writing up occupational therapy evaluations. Responsibilities also include ongoing communication with supervisors regarding case management and maintaining accurate attendance and billing logs.
Candidates must be graduates from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy and hold a current New York State Occupational Therapy License. Desired attributes include passion for working with children, strong communication and collaboration skills, independence, excellent organizational skills, and flexibility.
Occupational Therapist: *$500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment with active cases (10hour/week minimum)*
Location: Garden City Facility and/or surrounding Preschools
Status: Full-Time and/or Fee for Service
Hours: Monday-Friday, between 8a-6p
Compensation: $62,000-$65,000

In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.**
