Head Start Assistant Teacher (Zapata Center)

The assistant teacher collaborates with the lead teacher to implement a child-Centered curriculum and maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment for children aged 3 to 5. Responsibilities include documenting child progress, conducting home visits, and partnering with families to support developmental goals.

Candidates must hold a child development associate (Cda) credential or a state-Awarded equivalent, or be enrolled in a program to obtain one within two years. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass background checks and physical exams are required.
