STUDENT-Writing Center Tutor

The primary responsibilities involve tutoring a diverse range of students, approximately 10 hours per week, to foster their independence as writers while maintaining a welcoming environment. Tutors will also develop instructional content, host workshops, and potentially take on leadership roles or strategic projects within the writing center.

Candidates must have solid academic standing, strong writing abilities in expository genres, and have successfully completed specific college-Level writing courses, with sophomore standing required at the start of employment. Desirable qualifications include outside research/Internship experience and skills in areas like web design or pr.
