Position Summary

Fork Union Military Academy seeks a full-time Spanish Teacher to serve students in grades 7-12 and postgraduate level as assigned. This position is responsible for teaching Spanish language, grammar, reading, writing, listening, speaking, and cultural content in a structured, college-preparatory environment. The Spanish Teacher will adhere to the mission of the school. Key Responsibilities Teach assigned Spanish courses in grades 7-12 and postgraduate level as needed. Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials. Grade assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback. Maintain strong classroom standards and support student growth. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Participate in faculty meetings, department meetings, and school activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, World Languages, or a related field. Fluency in spoken and written Spanish. Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with adolescent boys in a structured environment. Will adhere to the mission of the school.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior classroom teaching experience. Virginia teaching license strongly preferred. Master's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field preferred. Ability to contribute to advising, coaching, or student activities preferred.
