Roseman University’s College of Dental Medicine is seeking an accomplished orthodontic professional to guide the next generation of dentists through hands-on clinical and pre-clinical training at our Henderson, Nevada campus. In this adjunct faculty role, you won’t just supervise—you’ll shape how students think, practice, and grow. From real-world patient care to high-fidelity simulation, your influence will extend across our state-of-the-art clinics, helping students master critical competencies while upholding the highest standards in evidence-based and biomedical-integrated care. This role is ideal for an orthodontic specialist who values precision, mentorship, and a teaching environment that prioritizes student success as much as clinical excellence. Whether you're refining treatment plans, assessing student performance, or advancing digital dentistry tools, your role will have real impact—in the classroom, in the clinic, and in the lives of future dental professionals. Essential Functions: Clinical/Simclinic teaching utilizing a proactive and engaged learning model Didactic teaching utilizing Mastery Learning Utilize evidence-based science in didactic and clinical teaching Integrate Biomedical Science in didactic and clinical teaching Oversee and provide patient care as needed in the College’s clinics Oversee and provide simulated patient care as needed in the College’s SimClinic Manage and assess student progress toward competency Required to be standardized in Clinic/SimClinic operation and approved treatment modalities Adapt to current and future technologies (i.e. digital impressions, input of patient data) utilized at the CODM Qualifications: DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited US or Canadian dental school or equivalent Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Nevada at the time of application and receive licensure within 3 months of hire Acquire certification in all specialty areas within one year of hire Completion of a CODA-approved, post-doctoral residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Supervisory and leadership skills and experience Must be skilled in public speaking, experience in classroom teaching is highly preferred Familiarity with HIPAA, FERPA, OSHA, and laws/regulations pertaining to the practice of dentistry in Nevada Who We Are!
