Core responsibilities
The primary assignment involves teaching two eighty-Minute mathematics blocks daily, responsible for approximately 30 students, while also participating in weekly level team gatherings and biweekly department meetings. Instructors must also support student experiences outside the classroom through athletics or residential life and serve as a mentor to a small student group.
Requirements summary
The ideal candidate should have experience teaching mathematics using an inquiry-Based curriculum focused on student thinking and be comfortable guiding students across all courses from pre-Algebra through calculus. Candidates must embrace constructivist principles in curriculum design and demonstrate a commitment to fostering belonging and inclusion.
