Lower School PE Teacher (26-27)

The teacher will collaborate with the lower school physical education team to oversee the curriculum and teach four sections of physical education to students in pk-Grade 4, focusing on fostering joy in movement and understanding physical activity benefits. Primary duties include using shape standards for planning, instruction, and assessment, leveraging research-Informed practices through a lens of equity and inclusion, and utilizing assessment data to inform teaching.

A bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a specialization in physical education or elementary education, and a master's degree in a related field is preferred. Candidates should ideally have two or more years of teaching experience with lower school students (Pk-Grade 4) and demonstrate skills in working with diverse populations and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
