Position Summary
Nine-month academic graduate assistant supporting the middle school through a variety of responsibilities.
This is a 9-month Academic GA position reserved for graduate students of BJU.
Primary duties and responsibilities
- Teach secondary classes as needed (an average of one or two class periods daily); this could include, for example
- Teaching middle and high school Bible classes
- Assisting teachers with grading and teaching in additional middle school classes
- Support middle school principal with other middle school needs (an average of 3 hours daily if teaching one class daily or 1 hour daily if teaching 2 classes daily), this could include, for example:
- Overseeing student study hall daily
- Lunch duties
