Job description

Position Summary

Maintain an orderly atmosphere in the Skills Lab in the Mack building. Work collaboratively with the Nursing Faculty to facilitate student skills practice and demonstrations. Communicate professionally with supervisor, faculty, and peers.

Must be enrolled as a clinical student in the Division of Nursing, sophomore or above.

Principal duties and responsibilities

  • Maintain security in the Skills Labs in the Mack building by locking and unlocking the lab at appointed times. Monitor student activities within lab and maintain privacy by restricting lab usage to nursing majors.
  • Assist students with supplies and questions during lab practice hours.
  • Set up lab supplies as requested by faculty; communicate questions to supervisor and faculty.
  • Cultivate an atmosphere of cleanliness by keeping the lab neat and clean.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University.
  • Must be enrolled as a clinical student in the Division of Nursing, sophomore or above
  • Must be a good communicator and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
