Diabetes Educator RN

The diabetes educator is responsible for providing nursing assessment, care, and education to diabetic patients and their families, focusing on self-Management education including healthy eating and medication adherence. Key tasks involve comprehensive patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, educating on devices like cgms, and monitoring blood glucose levels.

Candidates must possess an associate degree and maintain current registered nurse (Rn) licensure with the oklahoma state board of nursing or hold a multi-State rn license. A current basic life support (Bls) certification is also required for this position.
