Associate Teacher

Associate teachers collaborate with co-Teachers to plan emergent curriculum based on observations of children's interests and development, while creating responsive, safe, and joyful learning environments for children aged 0-5. Responsibilities also include documenting children's learning, facilitating family communication, and mentoring junior staff.

A child development associate certification is the minimum requirement for infant, toddler, or two classrooms, although a bachelor's degree is preferred; a minimum of three years of professional early childhood teaching experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and possess strong communication skills, with bilingual mandarin/English being a plus.
