Core responsibilities
The registered behavior technician will conduct one-On-One aba therapy sessions for early learners and young adults with autism in home or community settings, implementing individualized treatment plans for clients aged 2 to 21. Responsibilities also include participating in bcba trainings, team meetings, client observations, receiving supervision, maintaining professional boundaries, and accurately entering daily trial data for all patient programs.
Requirements summary
Candidates should ideally possess six months of experience as an aba therapist or one year working with children with disabilities or autism, though this is preferred, not required. Essential requirements include excellent verbal and written communication, willingness to undergo a background check, possessing a reliable car and driver's license for client commuting, and holding a high school degree.
