Summer Support Staff Youth Care Worker

The youth care worker will act as an advocate, role model, and coach for youth in residential programs, assisting them in re-Establishing themselves in a secure environment to pursue their goals. Responsibilities include implementing summer programming, providing supportive supervision, coaching life skills, engaging in daily routines, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid illinois driver's license, and be able to work 40 hours per week during the summer months. A bachelor's degree is preferred, or a high school diploma with 2-5 years of youth development experience, ideally working with youth who have experienced adversity or trauma.
