Special Education Paraprofessional - 2026-2027 School Year

The special education paraprofessional will support students with academic, behavioral, and self-Care goals by implementing individualized education programs (Ieps) and positive behavior support plans under teacher guidance. Responsibilities also include assisting with transitions, activities, personal care, and accurately collecting and recording behavioral and progress data.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of three months of experience supporting individuals with learning or behavioral disabilities. Essential qualifications include knowledge of behavior management strategies, strong communication, teamwork skills, and the ability to remain calm during challenging situations.
