High School AVID Elective Teacher (2026 - 2027 School Year)

The avid elective teacher is responsible for implementing the advancement via individual determination program, focusing on academic acceleration through skills like writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, reading, note-Taking, and study skills. This role involves collaborating across content areas to support student success in rigorous courses and actively participating in the building-Based avid site team.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's or master's degree and a valid missouri teaching certificate, with a preference for candidates having deep knowledge of avid standards and systems, and ideally five years of experience. Essential qualifications include excellent organizational skills, outstanding communication abilities for diverse stakeholders, and a strong work ethic.
