Outreach Summer Assistant (Temporary, 12 hours per week)

The youth summer outreach assistant will present storytimes at various outreach venues, assist staff with in-House library programs, and staff the summer reading desk to engage children with reading. Duties also include preparing and organizing materials for both outreach and in-House summer reading programs.

Candidates should ideally possess a high school diploma and are required to have experience with or be receiving educational training for working with children aged 3 to 8 years old. Essential abilities include strong communication, customer focus, flexibility, and the capacity to perform physical tasks like kneeling and carrying.
