Prevention Specialist

The specialist will plan, develop, and implement alcohol and other drug prevention and intervention services, including groups and didactic presentations, in line with state regulations. Responsibilities also include providing professional training, timely reporting, tracking, program evaluation, and fostering positive relationships with consumers.

Candidates should ideally possess an associate's degree in a human service related field or have two years of related experience. A key requirement is the willingness to obtain prevention credentials, specifically an ra within three months and subsequently working towards an ocpsa.
