Teacher Assistant-Infants & Toddlers (CDA)

The teacher assistant helps plan and implement classroom activities for infants and toddlers and assumes responsibility for the classroom when the teacher is absent. Responsibilities also include maintaining room cleanliness, planning small group activities, and ensuring consistent, documented communication with parents.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma along with a child development associate (Cda) certificate or an associate of arts (Aa) degree in early childhood education. The role requires physical capabilities such as lifting up to 30 pounds and bending, stooping, and intervening to assist children, including those with special needs.
