The Instructional Coach is responsible for providing instructional leadership and ensuring effective implementation of educational standards and practices. This includes supporting education staff through professional development, coaching, and collaboration to promote high-quality early learning environments.
Candidates must have a strong alignment with the organization's mission and demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education standards. A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, along with five years of classroom experience and preferably one year of coaching experience, is required.

The Instructional Coach-Early Education Support is responsible for providing instructional leadership and ensuring the effective implementation of NCC’s Core Features, National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Standards, and Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP). The Instructional Coach supports education staff through coordinated professional development, coaching, reflective supervision, and interdisciplinary collaboration to promote high-quality early learning environments, strong teacher-child interactions, and positive child outcomes for children ages birth to 30-months or 30-months to 5-years-old.
The ELC is located on Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue in SE Washington, DC. The centers hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm. This position will work either 7:30am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm.
This position has an annual salary range of $75,000-$84,000 and is dependent on the candidate’s skills and experience
