About Us

  • Shoreline Christian School is a Christ-centered educational community committed to nurturing the hearts and minds of students. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Student Support Staff member who loves the Lord and desires to serve in a Christian school environment. We offer medical, dental, vision, 403B, life insurance, and PTO. Salary $20,000 - $25,000 DOE. Our greatest accomplishment and hope as teachers is that every child will know that they are special and created in God’s image.
  • Position
  • Overview: The Secondary Student Support Staff member will report to the Secondary Principal and work closely with the Director of Student Support, School Counselor, and Secondary teachers. This role is crucial in supporting the needs of students with individualized strategies to foster confidence, academic growth, and success. The ideal candidate will play an integral part in building strong relationships with students, assisting them with executive functioning skills, and some subject-specific learning.

  • Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to address the academic, social, and/or behavioral needs of identified students. Provide one-on-one and/or small group support to students in areas such as executive functioning, time management, organization, and subject-specific content. Foster a positive, supportive, and encouraging environment for students to build confidence and achieve success. Substitute on an as needed basis in the classroom and assist in other assigned duties as needed by the Secondary Principal and Director of Student Support.

Qualifications

Strong commitment to the values and mission of Shoreline Christian School. A love for working with students and helping them grow spiritually, academically, and emotionally. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Prior experience in education or student support is a plus, but not required. A desire to build meaningful relationships with students and staff.
