The leader is responsible for the general supervision of youth and teens, which includes planning and implementing various activities such as physical activities, nutrition, academic enrichment, homework assistance, and light tutoring. Essential functions also involve ensuring participant safety, assisting with school-directed virtual learning, and maintaining positive interactions and discipline.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and meet educational requirements of 48 semester college units or an alternative placement plan, though prior youth work experience is preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required within 30 days of hire, along with completing abuse prevention training and providing tuberculosis test results.

Due to the direct supervision and ratio requirements outlined by the State of California, this position will not have an option to work from home during program operational hours.
