Special Education Tutor - Core Subjects

The tutor will provide individualized academic support in core subjects like reading, writing, and math, focusing heavily on foundational literacy and early elementary math skills for a middle school student. Responsibilities include implementing structured lessons, using positive reinforcement, managing potential dysregulation, and communicating progress updates to the parent.

Candidates must have experience working with special education (Sped) students, demonstrating strong skills in foundational reading and math instruction tailored to diverse learning needs including adhd, autism, and dyslexia. The ideal applicant needs to be patient, adaptable, capable of maintaining a structured environment, and preferably possess basic or conversational spanish skills.
