ADVANCE Academic Coach

The academic coach primarily focuses on executing student support for the advance program, providing holistic guidance across eight focus areas of development for their assigned caseload of students. Responsibilities include academic advising while students are at nova, monitoring progress, identifying barriers, and implementing intervention strategies to ensure student success and retention.

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, along with professional experience in areas like academic advising, student success coaching, or career services, specifically supporting diverse student populations. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of academic advising, strong communication skills, and proficiency with educational database management systems.
