About the role

The role involves designing, developing, and implementing school-wide management strategies and individual behavioral interventions, while also participating in team meetings to support behavior plan implementation and reintegration plans. Responsibilities include performing assessments for struggling students and ensuring timely submission of documentation meeting quality assurance standards.

This position is eligible for an up to $10,000 bonus!

The Home for Little Wanderers' private COVE School is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for its Plymouth, MA campus.

How You’ll Be Making A Difference

Design, develop and implement school-wide management strategies and/or individual behavioral interventions.

Participate in team meetings providing support and management for the implementation of behavior plans.

Provide input and support on follow-up and implementation of reintegration plans for students who are returning to school from hospitalizations or suspensions.

Experience in developing/implementing trauma informed programming is needed.

Utilize behavior plans that are consistent with program goals and that best fit with students’ age and treatment needs.

Perform assessment and evaluation of new students and students consistently struggling to meet the expectations at school.

Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide quality care. Attend staff meetings, IEP meetings and case conferences; Consult with supervisor and team members on challenging or difficult student issues. Facilitate communication between various providers.

Submit reports and documentation in a timely manner. Ensure that documentation meets utilization review and quality assurance standards.

Attend in-service training and outside seminars to enhance and develop skills

May provide training, workshops and consultations to teachers, parents and collateral staff.

Perform program specific duties and functions.

May participate in agency committees.

Provide on-call coverage and crisis intervention as needed

Qualifications

  • Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
  • DESE certification
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care
  • Excellent cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer, with the ability to learn new software applications

Pay Range Positioning Summary

The pay range listed represents the company’s good faith estimate of the salary or wage range for this position at the time of posting, as required under applicable law. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including a candidate’s relevant experience, education, skills, and internal equity relative to other employees in similar roles. Candidates with less directly related experience may be placed toward the lower end of the range, while those with extensive or specialized experience may be placed toward the higher end. Market conditions and budget considerations may also influence final pay decisions.

Requirements
