The instructor will provide classroom instruction for Beginner ESL courses focusing on reading, writing, and speaking, adhering to the academic calendar and approved syllabi. Duties also include maintaining accurate student records and assisting staff with advisement, coaching, and registration.
We are seeking an instructor of Beginner ESL (English as a Second Language). Program classes provide instruction to our Beginner ESL courses (Basics, Foundations and PREP).
This is a part-time, hourly position.
The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The hourly pay range for this position is $20-$30.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, along with some experience teaching low-level ESL. Candidates must be available to work at specified campus locations during day, evening, and weekend hours as needed.
