This role involves developing, delivering, and evaluating programming for student-Athletes focusing on personal development, life skills, community service, and career exploration while fostering an environment that supports their well-Being and growth. The specialist will also co-Lead the student-Athlete advisory committee (Saac), co-Teach university studies courses, and stay current on best practices in student development and athletics.

Requirements summary

A bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for both specialist i and ii levels, with specialist ii requiring an additional two years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include experience creating transition programming for student-Athletes, facilitating sessions, using specific software (Canvas, teamworks, canva), and having a direct understanding of the student-Athlete experience.
