Essential Functions
Works with the lead teacher to implement a program of instruction that adheres to the school's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
Takes initiative in the classroom, and assists in preparing the learning environment daily, including centers and activities.
Maintains a clean and organized classroom daily.
Assists in classroom management and orderly transitions.
Uses positive words and actions in all communication and interaction with the students.
Assist in daily activities with children.
Prepare crafts and activities under the teacher's direction.
Prepare a learning environment daily including centers and activities.
Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration.
Assist with snack, lunch, and rest time.
Position Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Diploma and 90-hour childcare certification.
Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.
An appreciation for young students and their families.
Willingness to support the mission of the Catholic Faith and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools.
$18.00, Hourly
