Core responsibilities
Developmental therapists conduct evaluations, participate in individualized family service plan (Ifsp) development and implementation, monitor outcomes, and provide early intervention (Ei) supports to families for the benefit of the child. Responsibilities also include adhering to federal and state regulations, utilizing evidence-Based practices, and functioning as the service coordinator.
Requirements summary
Candidates must meet ct birth to three education and licensure requirements, typically involving a master's degree and specific department of education certificate endorsements or state certification through the b23 system.
