Summer 2026 Student Library Ast - Processing

The processing library assistant handles various tasks related to acquisitions, cataloging, and processing in the nicholas suite, including physical processing of new books, mending damaged items, and binding music scores. Duties also involve copy cataloging and resolving existing cataloging issues as assigned.

Candidates must be current wheaton college undergraduate or graduate students possessing good critical thinking and communication skills. Essential abilities include attention to detail, the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, and a willingness to learn classification systems and new computer platforms.
