Relief Teaching Assistant

The relief teaching assistant will assist the teacher with activities tailored to address student needs as outlined in their individualized education plans (Ieps). Duties encompass preparing classroom materials, providing direct instruction to students, and handling the custodial care of students.

A high school diploma or ged is required, though college credits are preferred for this role. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and must obtain nys teaching assistant certification, along with the physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
