- This position is responsible for: Assist in the implementation of the overall conservatory operation at the direction of the Conservatory Program Director. Helps deliver conservatory program activities that are safe, fun, and appropriate to the camper’s age and abilities. Ensures all materials are provided for programs conducted by Officers and weekly Program Staff. Assists junior instructors with housekeeping responsibilities as needed.

Assists in the development and implementation of conservatory camp programs based on the changing needs of campers; develops programs or assists leaders in developing programs to target the enrolled campers. Works with the Conservatory Program Director in planning, coordinating, and supervising activities related to programming.

- Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Some physical requirements of the Camp Childcare position include endurance, such as climbing, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are essential for performing manipulative activities. Requires a normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Have a willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours delivering a program at the available facility. Operate in daily exposure to the sun, heat, and varying environmental conditions.
