About the role

The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized instruction, including developing and implementing IEPs and lesson plans to ensure meaningful student progress. They must also manage classroom behavior, maintain a safe learning environment, track progress, and lead/support classroom staff.

As a Special Education Teacher at New Story Schools, you will design and deliver individualized instruction that helps every student make meaningful progress.

You’ll create a structured, engaging classroom that supports both learning and social-emotional growth.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and a valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification, along with a minimum of three months of experience working with students with disabilities.
