About the role

The Special Education Paraprofessional will collaborate with teachers to directly support students with their academic, behavioral, and self-care objectives, including implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans. This role involves assisting students with transitions, activities, personal care, and meticulously collecting and recording behavioral and progress data to maintain a supportive learning environment.

At New Story Schools, we serve students ages 5–21 with autism and emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges.

Guided by individualized learning, therapeutic integration, and collaboration, we empower students to grow and prepare for meaningful adult lives.

As a Special Education Paraprofessional at New Story Schools, you will work alongside teachers to support students’ academic, behavioral, and daily living goals.

You’ll play a vital role in helping each student succeed through direct support, patience, and encouragement.

Requirements
