Special Education Paraprofessional - 2026-2027 School Year

The special education paraprofessional will collaborate with teachers to directly support students with their academic, behavioral, and self-Care objectives, including implementing individualized education programs (Ieps) and positive behavior support plans. This role involves assisting students with transitions, activities, personal care, and meticulously collecting and recording behavioral and progress data to maintain a supportive learning environment.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of three months of experience supporting individuals with learning or behavioral disabilities. Essential qualifications include knowledge of behavior management strategies, strong communication and teamwork abilities, and the capacity to remain calm during challenging situations.
