CIS IT Tutor

The primary role involves providing tutoring and individual instruction in it and select computer science courses, assisting students at various learning stages, and supporting professors with grading and other tasks. Tutors must also teach students effective study, note-Taking, and test-Taking strategies while encouraging them through positive reinforcement.

Candidates must have completed at least two specific lower-Division it or cs courses with a grade of a- Or better, and possess six months of general work experience. Applicants are expected to uphold the university honor code, including dress and grooming standards.
