SON Nursing Instructor/Professional Nurse

As a dual practicing nurse and instructor, the role involves leadership, collaboration, and supervision with unit members, faculty, students, and patients, while instructing, guiding, and evaluating nursing students during clinical practicum experiences. The professional nurse component requires serving as a member of the care delivery team, setting standards for care quality, and managing patient care activities through independent judgment.

Candidates must possess a master of science in nursing (Msn) and a minimum of three years of clinical experience, with precepting experience being required and clinical teaching experience in a prelicensure program preferred. Licensure as a registered professional nurse in pennsylvania and current cpr/Bls certification are mandatory, contingent upon approval by the pa state board of nursing.
