Preschool Teacher Assistant

Teacher assistants support lead teachers in planning and implementing learning experiences to advance the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of children in early childhood and head start programs. This includes assisting with instruction, supervising activities, modeling positive behavior, ensuring child safety, and supporting family involvement.

Candidates must possess a current child development associate (Cda) credential for early childhood ages 3-5 and have one year of preschool experience with children in that age range. The role requires the physical ability to regularly lift and/Or move up to 30 pounds and the ability to build trusting relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
