Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree in exercise physiology, athletic training, or physical education with an athletic training emphasis is required, though a master's degree is preferred, and no previous experience is necessary. Candidates must possess a current bls certification, sc llr licensure as an athletic trainer (If working in south carolina), and the boc certification for athletic training.
