Teacher V

This role involves leading the teaching team in an early childhood classroom and being responsible for the overall development and implementation of the education program. The leader must ensure the classroom remains compliant with state licensing requirements, head start performance standards, and naeyc guidelines.

The minimum requirement for this teacher v level is a child development associate (Cda) credential in the appropriate area for infant/Toddler specialization. Required experience includes early childhood classroom management, curriculum planning, and record-Keeping, with experience working with children with disabilities and computer skills being highly desired.
